The History of the Japanese Shakuhachi May 31

FluteShakuhachi  is a Japanese bamboo end blown flute with strong connections to meditation and spirituality which came to Japan from China sometime in the 6th century. Branson Stover will be at the Princeton Public Library Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 to talk about the history of the instrument and its connection to spirituality.  He will also give three musical performances and show a short film called “The Spiritual Nature of Shakuhachi” by Brandon Stover.
