The week of July 25 – 29 is the last week of Summer Reading fun at the Princeton Public Library. Events planned to end the season with a photo finish include Logan Jr. High band music, a life-sized Angry Birds game, and the end of program party.
The Logan Junior High Summer band will perform at the library Tuesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. Under the direction of Brandon Stover, these local musicians will show off the results of their summer session and set your toes to tapping.
On Thursday, July 28 at 2:30 p.m. 1st graders through 8th graders can play a life-sized real-life version of the popular Angry Birds video game. Green pigs will invade, and, yes, birds will be angry, but what fun it will be to slingshot birds into block houses to win the day.
Local musician Chris Nesbitt will perform for the final night of this year’s summer reading season on Friday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. Adults and kids alike should come to enjoy the music and see if their names are drawn to win one of the many great prizes waiting on the finish line.
