On Saturday Oct. 29 the Princeton Public Library and the Patient Innovation Center will be hosting its first ever Health Fair from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. Several programs will take place that day in addition to vendor tables set up throughout the library offering services and information.
Programs being presented by participants are: “Heart Healthy Living” by Perry Memorial Hospital, “Alzheimers vs. Dementia” by Alzheimer’s Association, “Open Enrollment – Healthcare Insurance Marketplace” by Patient Innovation Center, “Short Term Rehabilitation” by Liberty Village, “Creation Health” by FARMSTEW International, “Managing Caregiver Stress” by Home Instead Senior Care, “Reducing the Risk of Diabetes” by University of Illinois Extension, and “Getting Off the Blood Sugar Rollercoaster” and “Kids’ Health” by Genesis 129 Wellness. Tests provided by participants include blood typing by Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, blood pressure by Perry Memorial Hospital, and blood pressure and body fat analysis by St. Margaret’s Hospital.
