Build a CARDBOARD CITYSponsored by Princeton Pharmacy
We have set up a makerspace table in the Youth Services Department during summer reading. Select an 8” x 8” or 4” x 8” cardboard base. Decide what you want to build (if you want, you select a challenge card from the jar). Sketch out a design for a house or other building, a garden, or another city feature on a piece of paper. Using cardboard and other materials, build your design. You may take your base home to work on it or complete it here at the library. When you are finished, we will display your building. You will receive a Lego® minifigure when you complete your FIRST building, and a stamp/ticket for EACH building you complete.
DEADLINE: Friday, July 28

Bring your certificate to the Youth Services Desk to complete the Challenge.

There are so many amazing natural areas within easy access of Princeton. We challenge you to “Take a Hike!” and spend at least 30 minutes at 3 or more within a 40 mile radius. Some of these are more challenging/less family-friendly than others. See Challenge sheet for directions and recommendations.
