Libby by OverDrive

The website to browse, borrow, and read books from a computer remains the same as before at https://omnilibraries.overdrive.com. But for those who use app-enabled devices, OverDrive has developed a new app named Libby which should be downloaded to replace the older one. Don’t worry, though, Libby still has the same catalog of over 2 million eBooks and audiobooks. Go to https://meet.libbyapp.com/ to get started today!

eRead Illinois Axis 360

eRead Illinois e-books use the Baker & Taylor Axis 360 platform. Different catalogs may use different labels for the eRead Illinois e-books. The Axis 360 e-books are also available through a central portal: eRead Illinois Axis 360 Shared Collection.

The BiblioBoard platform

BiblioBoard features four collections:

Recovering the Classics: featuring public-domain classics from world literature, with modern cover images
Popup Picks: featuring titles that will change quarterly and will include hand-curated e-books from expert librarian curators
The Bodleian Library: featuring items from Oxford University’s Bodleian Library
The Biblioboard Core: featuring articles, images, books, etc. spanning a wide range of topics

There is no limit on simultaneous use; items in the collections can be read by 1 or 100 patrons at the same time. This means no hold queues and no waiting for titles.

A BiblioBoard Library profile will allow access to the collections outside of Illinois, as well as the ability to download content for offline reading and to add bookmarks and notes.
