The Princeton Public Library joins Friends of the Library in starting a new book club, “The Page Turners,“ the second Thursday of every month in The Matson Room, 6:30-8:00 p.m., beginning October 14, 2021.
The book chosen for the first discussion is American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins, a story about Lydia Perez and her son, who are forced to flee their comfortable middle-class existence in Acapulco and join the countless number of migrants making the dangerous trek to American soil.
Patrons should call the library to sign up for The Page Turners Book Club and reserve a copy of the book. When you are contacted by the Library that the books have arrived, come to the Circulation Desk at the Library with your library card and check your copy out. Start reading and we’ll see you in the Matson Room at 6:30 pm on October 14 for a lively discussion.
Bring a book title and author that you would recommend to the group for future monthly selections. The Page Turners Book Club is open to all library card holders looking for their next great read!
