Friends Book Sale


The next Friends of the Princeton Public Library book sale will be Thursday, July 22nd, from 10 am – 5 pm, Friday, July 23rd, from 10 am – 5 pm, and Saturday, July 24th, from 10 am – noon.

Book Donations are again being accepted!

Small amounts of books may be left in the Friends donation bin in the Café Lobby. If you have several boxes, please call Jill Van Acker, 815-876-6062, to arrange a time when a Friends volunteer can meet you when you drop off your donation.

Items that are NOT accepted for
the Friends of the Library Sales

No magazines
No Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
No encyclopedias (World Book, Compton’s, Childcraft)
No special interest book sets (e.g., Time-Life history, handyman, how-to, or health sets)
No textbooks (at any school level, Jr. High, High School, or College, including nursing)
No discarded books from other libraries
Books that are damp, musty or moldy, or without covers are considered unacceptable. Old (vintage) books must be in at least Fair condition.
No VHS movies
No audio cassettes
