Tuesday 10:30 am Story Time: NO STORYTIME DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST. Please join us on Tuesday, September 3, when Preschool Storytime and Craft resumes.
Story time is held in the Matson Meeting Room (located through the Library Cafe). We begin with good-morning songs, then read one or two stories, followed by movement rhymes, manipulatives (scarves, rhythm sticks, percussion instruments), and songs, and we close with another story or two. We understand that little ones sometimes need to move or be noisy; parents are welcome to take their child out of the meeting room to calm down or play in the Youth Services area if need be.
Princeton Public Library’s Youth Summer Reading Program ran from Monday, June 10, through Saturday, July 27. Almost 150 young readers participated this summer! Thanks to all who participated, offered support in terms of donations or time, or otherwise helped Princeton-area youth bridge the summer reading gap!
