2017 Youth Summer Reading Program
REGISTRATION: June 12 – 17 Pick up a registration card and schedule. Children do not need to register for the reading program to attend summer reading programs. We prefer that children participating in the reading program have a Princeton Public Library card or hold a reciprocal card from another area library. The summer reading program tracks hours of reading (which may be recorded in 15 minute increments)—incentives are awarded at 5 hours, 15 hours, 25 hours, and 50 hours of reading. For each hour of reading or program attended, participants receive one raffle ticket toward prizes for our end-of-program raffle. Prize drawings will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, July 31. Attendance is not required to win.
In addition to reading hours and program attendance, we’ve put together some challenges that can be done at any point during summer reading. Check them out here and stop at the Youth Services Desk to pick up a Challenge sheet.
