Princeton Public Library will host a free workshop by author Tom McKay on Thursday, October 17, 6:30 pm. This one-hour session of instruction, discussion, and exercises will focus on plot, characters, and setting as the three main elements of a short story; and action, description and dialogue as three important tools in telling a story.
Tom McKay has published in numerous magazines and journals. His story “Paper or Plastic” recently appeared in So It Goes, the literary journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library. His most recent collection, Junk to Think About: Short & Shorter Stories, is in print from River Lights Publishing.
