Music Jam

On Tuesday, December 17th at 6:30p.m. the library with have its monthly Music Jam.  If you play Bluegrass, Gospel, Country, Folk, or Popular Music…bring your guitar, banjo, or mandolin and play a song or jam with the group. All players and listeners are welcome.

Board Game & Card Playing Night

On Thursday, December 19th at 6:30p.m. we will  have our monthly Game Night. Bring your friends to relax and have some fun with board games like Scattegories, Trivial Pursuits, Blokus, Ticket to Ride, or bring your favorite game.  We also play card games like Kings in the Corner, Rummy, Poker, Hearts or teach us your favorite card game.

Relax with Seasonal Poetry and Holiday Music

Get a double-dose of holiday spirit on Friday, December 20th  relaxing with entertainment in the main circulation area. At 4:15, Kevin Shyne will read some of his original poetry appropriate for the season, and from 5:00-6:00p.m., Mike, Kris, and Brenda will play holiday music on the Guitar and Sing your favorite Christmas Carols in the main area of the Princeton Public Library.  Bob will join them on the Hammer Dulcimer.

Healthy Boundaries & Being an Effective Caregiver for a Loved One with a Serious Mental Health Condition

On Saturday, December 21st at 11:00a.m. there will be a discussion about establishing healthy boundaries and being and effective caregiver for a loved one with a serious mental health condition.  This program is co-sponsored with the Princeton Depression Allies.  They will be sharing some tips and strategies for finding balance, joy, and hope in complex and demanding roles.  This program will be held in the Matson Meeting Room at the Princeton Public Library and this program is free and all are welcome to attend.
