Donatus Gadiye, a native of Tanzania, is personally intimate with the terrain, people, cultures, and native wildlife of East Africa.  Donatus holds a Masters Degree in Natural Resource Management.  He serves as a Warden and in several departments of conservation including protection of Northern Highland Forest Reserve within the Ngorongoro Crater – a World Heritage site, Biosphere Reserve, and the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet.  He monitors the protection of Black Rhinos on the crater floor and is coordinator for monitoring the crater’s Elephant population.

On Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Donatus will be at the library to talk about the measures his country is taking to protect these animals in peril from poaching and habitat destruction.  He will also speak on the other national parks in Tanzania and safari opportunities.  For more information please check out his website at www.wildernesslegends.com
